Just like Tutor does.

Open question: how does Tutor do this? is it a GitHub action?

  • answer: master is pushed to a private repo via a GHA, and I presume that some automation in the private repo pushed to nightly.

Open question: should we backport this behavior into the plugin template?

It took several tries but this is now working 👍🏻

I proposed upstreaming it to the cookiecutter: https://discuss.overhang.io/t/plugin-development-my-merge-to-nightly-github-actions-workflow/2596
