Add custom buttons in Android Auto

Hello,
So i want to see if there can be added a feature or 2 to crankshaft.
I have 2 camera's in my car, forward and backward.
I noticed there is this button in Android Auto which should lead you back to mainscreen.
It should be possible to add more actions here right?
I would like to be able to access my camviews via this menu.
So maybe it would be possible for the developers to add a custom button here?
One that can be disabled/enabled, edited, link a script to it etc.
