The current community cannot solve this problem immediately. In the future, we will analyze and locate the problem and propose a feasible solution.

According to the analysis of the Fedora community, the 31st version uses pam_krb5 2.4.13-14, which is the same as that of the 2.4.13-4 version in current community. No new patch is added. The release differences are due to the differences between the Fedora community recompilation. Fedora 32 and later versions do not provide the pam_krb5 software package.

And there is no open issue in Red Hat Bugzilla.

Four patches are provided in the opensuse community eight years ago. According to the analysis, these patches are mainly used to modify log output and adapt to some scenarios. They are not CVEs or bugfixes and will not be integrated into the current community.
pam_krb5-2.3.1-log-choise.dif: The log output level is adjusted and some logs are added.
bug-641008_pam_krb5-2.3.11-setcred-log.diff: Fixed the problem of frequent log output after the log adjustment of the previous patch.
pam_krb5-2.2.3-1-setcred-assume-establish.dif: The function of opening a session is added to the pam_sm_setcred function.
pam_krb5-2.3.1-switch-perms-on-refresh.dif: Added the function of refreshing the permission switchover during authentication.
