Desired feature or idea:

The way to keep the order of section names in the left pane in the all localized languages.

Additional context:

The order of section names in the document may be based on character code as of now. Given this, the order of section names in the English page and that in the localized page can differ.

For example, as of a570a00, the order of section names in the collector section in English page is as the following:

However, that in the Japanese page is as the following:

What's happening here is that localized "Quick start" (クイックスタート in Japanese) is coming at the bottom of the collector section because all Japanese characters are later than alphabets in UTF-8.

We need to ensure that all those pages have a fixed weight so this shouldn't happen

If possible, I'd like to avoid having to force all en pages to have weights when the fall back sorting is based on alphabetical order. Though that does raise the question: if we have entries in alphabetical order in en do we want them in "alphabetical order" in their respective languages too?

I think for most categories we have an order of those pages in mind. In this given example the "Getting Started" for the collector should always be the first page, independent of the translation or alphabetical ordering.

Otherwise I agree, alphabetical order is fine and can also be respective to the translated language.

Note that the Quick Start guide has a weight of 1 already so I am surprised about the change in order?
