  1. Operator image is using this ghcr.io/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-operator/autoinstrumentation-dotnet:0.0.0 as the default value for the .Net auto-instrumentation image.
  2. Publish image workflow for the Operator image is not setting the AUTO_INSTRUMENTATION_DOTNET_VERSION as a build argument for the Operator docker image, which caused the Operator to use 0.0.0 as a tag for the image.
  3. I have raised the PR to fix the same.
