OpenTelemetry collector vs Fluentd

I'm approaching OpenTelemetry and I would adopt it as Observability Standard in my company.
At the moment, we handle logs and traces by using FLuentbit + Fluentd + OpenSearch stack:

In this scenario, should I replace the Fluentd component with the OpenTelemetry collector? Is there a way to maintain Fluentd, or Fluentd plugin for OpenTelemetry?
