What happened?
Description
Even if the
HOST_PROC
env var is set the receiver can fail to start if the default host proc (/rootfs/proc
) doesn't exist.Steps to Reproduce
Run the receiver in a image without
/rootfs/proc
but withHOST_PROC
env var set to a valid location.Expected Result
The receiver should use the value in
HOST_PROC
and start without issues.Actual Result
The receiver fails to start and triggers a shutdown of the collector.
