Hello, I saw that the CustomVocab now works with annotations, not sure how much work it would be to get ValueSuggest to do something similar, but it would be welcome.

It's a good idea, though it will require some doing. The data type's JS, markup, and styles will need either to be rewritten for general use or copied and repurposed for the specific use. We have a work in progress on the value-annotation branch.
