I will like to add this module and contribute on making it available to v16, but is the project alive?

Well, I got many messages requesting this module for other versions, specially 13, 15, and 16.
But I just don't have the time to migrate it.
Feel free to make a pull request.

Firstly thanks a lot for the efforts in creating this project in the first place, it can't have been easy.
I would suggest deprecating versions prior to V14 now that it is out of support, and concentrating efforts on V15-V17.
I'm not a Javascript / frontend expert but I would like to contibute where possible.

I looked at it a while back and have a version migrated to V15 but recently i've also done a V16 version which has the following additional minor improvements. Will do a PR shortly if you could please create a 16.0 branch?

• Upgraded to latest dhtmlxgantt library
• Added the project.action_view_all_task view, which is useful to allow you to see plan across all projects

On observation, IMO these would be the main features I think it is lacking, that if added would be valuable:

1. Weekends configurable by company (mentioned here Make weekend days configurable. #13)
2. Ability to group-by
3. Configurable task colours
4. Display task summary on mouse hover
5. Task Progress: Not sure if i'm missing something but it does not seem to work, although mentioned in the cost
6. Auto re-scheduling: However I believe this is a PRO only feature, so maybe a simplifed method to achieve something similar on button click
7. Export to PDF
8. Milestone display
