Laggy and sluggish sliders and animations #359
Comments
Sorry, but sliders are butter fluent on my all 3 machines, even if one of them is 14 years old, and the other runs NVidia. If it comes to Hyprland animations: I don't use them at all, so I have no experience. Nobody else complained, however. |
No worries, I'm not "complaining", I'm sorry if it looked like it. Just wanted to point it out with video demonstration, so maybe it could be fixed, although I can't really attach logs. My machine is also all-amd with Ryzen 7 and 780M iGPU. Thank you for this project, it's great and helped me to solve many problems on my hyprland setup, sliders and animations are just minor inconveniences. |
In case you have some clue, mention it in this thread, please. This may be of help to someone else. |
Well, the sliders were not as butter fluent as I thought. I fixed it, release on the way. [edit] Released as 0.9.54. |
Thank you :) |
I've just installed nwg-shell on Artix Linux + Hyprland and I'm noticing that nwg-* components have sluggish animations and volume & brightness sliders are very laggy. Also "appearing" animations of panel menus look like they are rendering at 20-25 fps (not smooth).
