Java's slow serial port #1

One of the greatest time sucks is when we have close the port and open it at a new baud rate:

//Close and re-open port at new speed
myPort.stop();
myPort = new Serial(this, portName, max_port_speed);

If there is a better way to do serial in Java, we should be able to shave up to 50% off the bootload time.
