Settings sync causes the Editor theme to revert to Darcula

I'm experiencing this issue (as referenced by issue ¹) where by, if I load IDEA on a different machine, and the settings sync process runs, the editor theme will revert to Darcula. Doing into Preferences and setting the Editor theme to Nord puts it back as it should be.

There is some suggestion this may be a plugin implementation issue (²), but figured I should drop an issue in here to, hopefully this can be investigated :-)

Thanks for your patience, the large amount of tasks for the Nord project are really time consuming and free time is kind of rare.

Since Nord does not include any custom code but makes use of the official theme plugin API by setting the UI keys. Therefore it is not possible to modify the state of the IDE in any way.
However, the latest version updates 2021.1.2 includes a long outstanding bug fix (IDEA-265169) regarding the random change of themes. I've also tweeted about this to notify Nord users who also reported this problem in the past.

Can you please update to the latest version and check if this is really the problem you were facing?
