Hi, in. a custom list I have some words that I'd like matched if they appear as words, but not if they appear as fragments. In the UK, an obvious example is "sex" which wouldn't appear legitimately as a word in my forms, but might form part of an address if someone is based in Essex.

So I added " sex " to my list, but when the list is imported it looks like whitespace is stripped from the imported lines.

Could there be a way of marking whitespace as needed?

Based on my testing, I’m pretty sure that this is a limitation of how the WordPress core processes the blacklist content, not anything the plugin is concerned with.

Maybe you could whitelist "ssex" yet blacklist "sex". @norcross, is a whitelist a possibility?

there is currently functionality in the plugin for adding a whitelist items under the "Excluded Terms" box. does that solve the issue?
