Cannot read property 'trim' of undefined

Getting the below error, cant change npm at all aside from nodist npm match nothing works, even that gives me npm v 4.2.0 insted of 4.6.1

It's expected that you supply an argument to the npm local command. See https://github.com/marcelklehr/nodist#commands

Nevertheless, this case could be handled better than dumping a stack trace :)
