Fork, Commit, Merge - Easy Issue (TOML)

Create a Basic TOML Configuration File

Note: You don't have ask permission to start solving the issue or get assigned, since these issues are supposed to be always open for new contributors. The actions-user bot will reset the file back to previous state for the next contributor after your commit is merged. So you can just simply start working with the issue right away!

Description:

Your task is to create a TOML configuration file that defines various settings for an application.

How to get started

Open the tasks/toml/easy directory from the root of your project.
Then open up the config.toml file and once it is properly created according to the TOML syntax, you are done and ready to make a pull request!

Requirements:

Application Settings:

Include the following general settings:

  • Application Name: "MyApp"
  • Version: "1.0.0"
  • Debug Mode: false

Database Settings:

Include these settings for the database connection:

  • Host: "localhost"
  • Port: 5432
  • User: "user"
  • Password: "password"

Log Settings:

Specify the log file path and log level:

  • Log Path: "/path/to/log/file.log"
  • Log Level: "info"

Additional Information:

Please make sure to validate the TOML file using a TOML linter or online validator such as TOML-lint.

For more information on TOML syntax, refer to the official TOML documentation.

Check out README.md for more instructions and how to make a pull request.
