Fork, Commit, Merge - Easy Issue (Dart)

Create a Simple Dart Program to Add Two Numbers

Note: You don't have ask permission to start solving the issue or get assigned, since these issues are supposed to be always open for new contributors. The actions-user bot will reset the file back to previous state for the next contributor after your commit is merged. So you can just simply start working with the issue right away!

The goal of this task is to write a simple Dart program that adds two numbers.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • The program must be written in Dart.
  • It should define a function addNumbers that takes two integers as parameters and returns their sum.
  • When run, the program should print the sum of the two numbers to the console.

Open the tasks/dart/easy directory from the root of your project.

Then open a file called add_numbers.dart. Your task is to create a function named addNumbers that returns the sum of two numbers.
The function call and print function are already added to inside of main method as comments, where there is 5 and 10 added together, so uncomment them and if the addNumbers function works fine, it should return 15.

You can run dart run tasks/dart/easy/add_numbers.dart in Terminal to check if it returns the correct value.

To work with this issue, you need to have Dart installed to your local machine.
Check out README.md for more instructions of installing Dart and how to make a pull request.

Feel free to ask any questions here if you have some problems!

Also, kindly give this project a star to enhance its visibility for new developers!

Hi! As it says on the description, we don't assign anyone since these issues are supposed to be always open. So you can just make a pull request and i will merge it.
