Fork, Commit, Merge - Medium Issue (Vue)

Create a Simple Task List with Vue.js

Note: You don't have ask permission to start solving the issue or get assigned, since these issues are supposed to be always open for new contributors. The actions-user bot will reset the file back to previous state for the next contributor after your commit is merged. So you can just simply start working with the issue right away!

Description

  • Build a simple Vue.js application that allows users to add tasks, mark them as done, and filter between all tasks and completed tasks.

Start by navigating inside of the directory used in this project with the command:

cd tasks/vue/medium/vue-task-list

Then run npm i to install Vue.js and all the necessary dependencies for the project.

After installing the dependencies you can open the src/components directory and TaskList.vue file, and start implementing your solution!

Requirements

  • Add a button to trigger the task addition.
  • Loop through tasks and display them.
  • Display the count of total and completed tasks.
  • Add filter buttons.
  • Implement the required data, computed, and methods to handle tasks, filters, and task count.

There is no need to use any CSS styling in this project.

Run the Vue app

To check how to the Task List looks, make sure you are in the tasks/vue/medium/vue-task-list in your terminal and run npm run serve to start the Vue server.
Then, open a browser and go to http://localhost:8080/ to see your app.

If the Task List looks to be working correctly, you are ready to make a pull request!

To work with this issue, you need to have npm and NodeJS installed to your local machine.
