Resizable panel (or pane)

According to this thread, there are two ways to do this: either copy the way the tree-view package does it, or make symbols-tree-nav a pane instead of a panel, like in markdown-preview package.

A dock like the git and github dock to the right would be nice.

Sure this would be better... but imitating the tree-view package looks easier. Even so it'll take me quite alot of time, so I think I'd go for the tree-view way, for now... This wouldn't prevent from turning it as a dock like you say, only later...
