Magnet Link default check button

I saw a closed issue on a question about how to make put.io adder the default for magnet links. It was my default for a time and then I messed around with chrome and lost the setting. It would be nice if there was at least a button or link in the preferences to "Make default handler for .torrent and/or magnet:" Even better would be for the app to check this automatically.
