Opacity of Date

The Time control is opaque unlike the Date control.

I have tried setting opacity to 1 but this hasn't solved things.

Tried 100 , no joy.

Need Date control to be opaque.

Nb: Don't want to use it inline. Want it as a popup.

Further, its just the Sunday column that isn't opaque.
There is a box around Mo to Sa columns.
It appears that the Su column doesn't fit in
Clear button overhangs box as well.
