Notify NERC OpenShift production users of planned downtime.

Motivation

1. To identify course-related blockout dates so we may pick a set of dates.
2. To notify TAs, TFs, and students of the outage.

Completion Criteria

• blockout dates identified
• people to notify identified an confirmed in mailing lists emails
• Update UDEV rules for 5 V100's in OpenShift Prod #735 date scheduled Sept 30th, prefered
• email notification and other nerc notification channels sent/added

Description

• Check course times in catalog, make a table with them
• mail sent to teachers
• confirm planned outage date with teachers (eg. no project impact)
• mail sent to Heidi
• confirm planned outage date with Heidi
• Draft email (may be in parallel)
• send email

Desired - 2024-09-20
Required - 2024-09-23 if outage is planned for 9/30

Based on course times @msdisme will verify with instructors and Heid that October 10th after 11am is ok and that they will communicate it to their users.

Neither proposed date worked. I will be sending a survevy on oct 4 to identify a date that does. In the meantime @jtriley we probably want to revisit the other options you mentioned.
