Looking for maintainers #143
Comments
Hi Marius, Thanks for the note. Yes, I agree. Up to this point, all the credit for maintenance goes to @weglov, as he is the person who has kept things running smoothly. I am happy to add others, though I'm not sure how necessary this is given the lightweight nature of the library. What do you think @weglov? Perhaps it would help if you could point to something in particular that needs to be looked at? Did you have a specific pull request in mind? Nathan |
Hi Marius and Natan, Yes, I totally agree. As for me, I have not worked with vue for some years, as a result I've been spending less and less time maintaining this project. While I'm not the sole maintainer, I have been doing a good amount of the work around preparing and doing releases, which clearly has fallen off its normal pace. Would be great if we can find someone who can continue to support the project with us. I'll be happy to support in the process as much as possible! |
If you don't mind, I renamed the topic to get more attention. |
I'll be willing to do some to help maintain this repo. I'm interested in switching the repo over to TypeScript and starting the migration to Vue 3. |
Need any more help? |
That would be awesome would gladly contribute too. 😊 |
Dear @nathantsoi,
Thanks for providing this awesome package! I saw that despite its popularity there has not been much maintenance in recent months or years. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to reach out to the community, trying to get two or three people on board to take care of at least some basic maintenance, updating the npm package, checking MRs and so forth.
Repos that remain unmaintained can become a security risk without users and former maintainers noticing. That would be a shame to happen.
Looking forward what you and others think about that. Oppinions? I'm hoping that this will lead to some maintenance plan or similar.
Best regards from Berlin
Marius
