Description of the issue you are having

When I click shift to mine only one block it doesnt work it just breaks all of them and when I mine quartz it doesnt give me the xp. Please any solution?

IIRC, shift was added in later versions of the mod. I can look into this issue to back port it

As for receiving xp when mining, the same thing happens to me, I have the mod in 1.18.2 and I was mining when I realized that it doesn't give me xp, I changed it to a normal diamond pickaxe and it did give me Xp
