Stems missing when fie is saved and reopened (after adjusting beam slopes)

Description with steps to reproduce

1. Open attached file.
2. Notice some stems are not drawn in the first measure.
3. Change something in the score - the stems magically appear.
4. Save file, close it and reopen it. Stems are missing again.
   I have adjusted the slopes of the beams. If those are reset, everything is OK.
