Improve tabs UI #870

Currently they are not very "tabby". Perhaps we could try:

Improve their style so they look more like overlapped
Make them smaller and stop using the whole editor's width
Improve the reset button - it works, but there is a small glitch if you change tabs after it has been reset
Improve the gutter - it works but is hidden after the tab is clicked the first time
