Hi.
This hook doesn't do any networking on its own, it only acts as a bridge between mpv and webtorrent. So this needs to be supported by webtorrent. It appears as this was being worked on a while back but now looks abandoned. See webtorrent/webtorrent#874.
If this ever gets added to webtorrent I can add options to configure it. But I will not pursue it on my own.
