I am running motionEyeOS version: 2000606

Board Model

I am using the following board/model: Raspberry Pi 3A+

Hallo all,

i use this great software for years (to monitor my cabin).

I use Rpi + some cam + big battery and small TP Link (M7350) router with 4G normal sim card (no public IP).

But in last year my system have few malfunction...when is camera outside some rust happends on connectors and cables and system works well for two weeks but camera stop work (no image)... so i change the connectors for CSI cable and works good.

But i tried now i want find some solution to can have online acess to the camera and check from house if everything is OK.

So i find port forwarding but for this i must have Public IP, but then i find some good loking online solution which can work with Rpi called "Zerotier".

https://www.zerotier.com

and then i find this video how instal on Rpi.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFmeF5xoAPI&list=PL0INh6aZ6NrXDKD-EaaCAz8A8XcBOPkj2

So i have question can i instal this on my Rpi and will it work with MotioneyeOS?

Sorry for stupid question, but i try learn python and programming but still dont understand how i install another softwares into Rpi.

Can please someone help me if this will work and if, then can help me step by step help instal this software into my Rpi, so then i can connect from my home computer via internet to my Rpi which is in my Cabin and check MotioneyeOS if everything is OK?

I can pay via PayPal for your time.
Thank all for help.

Not sure if you got this figured out, but last time I used motioneyeos, it was pretty restrictive on what you could do. I use zerotier on RPI zero 2 with the main distribution of motioneye. But I do the motion capturing from a different computer.
