It's very possible because container data do exists in .tab-browsers, please add this feature because it allows Firefox users to literally recreate Chrome's Tab Group with no effort.

By that do you mean Firefox Multi-Account Containers? First time I'm hearing of this, but if I find it useful, will definitely implement.

It's very useful, it's literally the legendary addon Multifox but better:

  • It allows us to isolate our sign-in, for example isolating Google, Facebook in a insolated environment to prevent them from tracking
  • Logins with multiple account
  • Tagging tabs with colors

How to use: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-use-firefox-containers

That's why being able to sort by container will be super great because we can mimic Chrome's Tab Group in a way.

Ok I see. They are meant more for isolation than organization, but it should still work well. I'll implement this, just not too quickly, due to workload.

Thanks a lot, I'm glad that you're still around to update this addon.

It's so great and improved my workflow by a lot:

  • Sort by domain help me groups domain to comfortably close them
  • Sort by last used helps me find the last used tabs, which is great for someone who usually opens up to 5000 tabs like me.

Sort by container will make the dream of being able to see Tab Group-like feature in Firefox comes true.
