In thread view, the actual links are to the most recent post, no matter how long the thread is. This seems odd when ending up at the bottom of a particular page, considering that the user may well have not read anything from the previous discussion. The view is right at the bottom, with reply textfield in sight. We have done a lot of scrolling up in our testing.

This behavior is interesting, I and my staff have often felt in our testing that Discuss is odd this way, but now upon considering it I realize in my normal web work such as in the modx forums, I never feel strange about the view I get.

Also I think its interesting from a marketing standpoint. This view lets me sell X number of pageviews, based on X number of clicks... do i want it at the bottom or slightly above...I don't know. Finally I am thinking this is genius, because lots of room for ads and the provocative reply form is right there. I suppose then, that I just wish its easy to modularize the remaining space for adverts...
