Hello Everyone,

First I want to say sorry to all the developers who keep an eye on this repository in the last few months. I can't post comments or updates in the last month because of multiple reasons, and currently it's very difficult for me to keep tracking the issues, not to mention fixing them. And I doubt if I'm able to keep working on this repository. Also, there is a high chance that I'll not work in the VR related subject in the future.

I just checked Google's official repository, despite of slow update, they kept working on the new Cardboard repository, and they just managed to get graphic API OpenGLES3 working in mobile. Although the Apple Metal support is not yet supported, it is still on the roadmap, and I believe they will add it in the next couple of months.

Therefore, I want to inform you, that I'm not able to do further development frequently on this repository, including commit codes and answer comments. I encourage all of you to implement Unity XR Management and use Google's official Cardboard repository. Despite of lacking OpenXR Support on Unity side, they did a very good job on this structure, and it's not hard to implement it, I also believe that Unity will keep on using this structure in the near future. Metal support is still WIP in official Cardboard repository, but you can at least start working on it, so that when Metal support comes, you can add iOS support on week one.

This repository will still remain open, and you can still post new issues or comments, so that you can help each other. I may check them from time to time, but I will not be able to answer them in time.

Thank you for your support, happy new year and stay healthy,
cdytoby

Hey there, we appreciate your work and effort. Could you share with us the changes you made to the official Cardboard Open Source Project in order to produce the sdk-debug.aar file so we could still apply new patches and keep using Mobfish?

Thank you so much for your contribution!
