After much searching, I found your project, which I immensely like. But, there is one feature I only have seen in Citavi so far, and it is partially included in your project. It would be great to get a journal and author list and to be able to merge the journals and authors.
For authors, your feature of data normalization is already close to the feature I am looking for. It would be great to see an extended version of this feature. In my opinion, this would be a very useful and important feature to check for data consistency.
My idea would be to treat journals as an object containing journal names, abbreviation names, ISSN, and maybe more information on the journal. A Journal list should then list each unique data set and allow merging if inconsistencies exist.
The same would be great for authors.
These features would be very nice to have.
