Can't upload resource packs to realm

Describe the bug
Any given new resource pack dropped onto the $HOME/.var/app/io.mrarm.mcpelauncher/data/mcpelauncher/games/com.mojang/resource_packs load fine on local worlds.
When you try to add it to a REALM world you get "Error when applying content" "some of the selected content could not be applied".

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. unzip resource pack onto $HOME/.var/app/io.mrarm.mcpelauncher/data/mcpelauncher/games/com.mojang/resource_packs/pack-test
2. Edit world
3. Activate resource pack on My Packs
4. Exit Edit world

Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

Additional context
The same zipped version of the file seems to import fine to a real when done via a mobile phone.
