Trying to type diacritic marks doesn't work

Describe the bug
When using the Portuguese Brazilian (ABNT2) layout it makes it impossible to write diacritic marks

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open chat, book & quill, or any text box
2. Try to write an letter with an diacritic (Ex: A+`=À)
3. Doesn't work, only writing the letter without the diacritic

Expected behavior
Expected behaviour would be to the letter with the diacritic to be written

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: Linux (Pop!_OS 22.04)
• Version v0.9.0.713-AppImage-x86_64 (Build 713)
  • Also doesn't work on the latest action (commit e0d8ad8)
  • Also doesn't work on the most recent Flatpak version
• Installation Type: AppImage

Additional context
I don't know if this helps but I am also using Wayland on GNOME
