Not connecting to LAN game #790
Comments
Did you check your firewall? I think port 19132 needs to be open, with both UDP and TCP, on both sides. |
I have checked this, but I removed the rule and readded it. Unfortunately I cannot test this as Minecraft has just updated to 1.19.63.01, so I have got to wait for that to go through here |
I have a similar issue:
The game actually show up in the list but on first connection attempt after a new start it shows an error "Unable to connect to world" rather quickly in a popup. On second attempt it takes quite long and after a timeout also this error appears full screen. The LAN game was started on an ipad, but I guess that should normally work as well. |
Describe the bug
LAN connections not showing.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Expected behavior
Normally a local game appears under "Joinable Friends", which you can connect to.

Additional context
It also does not show the online games from Microsoft/Xbox friends. The LAN connection was the fix for this because we live together, but this suddenly stopped working, and I am not sure why. Only thing changed on my PC is that I updated graphics drivers (reverting to the original graphics driver did not fix it either).
