I know its a problem with pulse audio and I've been reading the other issues with the same problem but i have no idea on how to compile the thing and also don't really know what pulse audio to get I've had to fork over the thing you suggested to him and also ran the build-bot from cristoper or whoever

Neither does I know, pulseaudio has a way to much dependencies and brew doesn't support i386 ( 32bit ). Instead I decided to just don't support sound for that devices, newer mac's don't have that problem.
Unless you manage to install libpulse-simple for i386 macOS, I don't invest time for further guides., I'm not satified to support that old devices.
Last time I tested pulseaudio on macOS it did work for amd64 devices, but installing pulseaudio for amd64 is much easier
Important is that your Operating system is Unsupported as of October 2018. Upgrading to Mojave don't bring you sound, since your device was sold before 2012.
