My minecraft crashes when I get into the water and put blocks

My minecraft crashes when I get into the water and put blocks, it no longer lets me get into my world, they could help me I'm from mac (I'm using a translator because I don't know English)

My game too now crashes when I try to load into a world where I broke a block while standing in water. Any idea what could be causing this?

Same with lava in creative.

I think it is a bug in the launcher, there to wait for it to be patched

This bug works on multiplayer games such as servers, if you spawn on land and enter water or lava you will get a blue screen(if day or a black screen at night) (not a bsod) hit esc and leave the world. there is no known fix that I know of except to stay away from water and lava if you got a different result I would suggest documenting it and posting how to reproduce it here so CHX can fix it

I got that bug too but only on one realm. I've tried getting it on other realms but everything was fine there. Then I tried logging onto the realm with windows and my phone but the bug was still there. I guess it isnt only a linux issue or the bug corrupted my whole account. On phone it was a bit different though, instead of being stuck in one place I was falling endless. Tried teleporting me or killing me but nothing worked.
