Exit code 15 when launching Minecraft 1.14.60.5 #341

FYI: I hit this issue today. I had installed for the first time, and when prompted to update, I did so, to 0.0.175. I guess the prebuilt binary for 0.0.175 version was built with the buggy build script? When I uninstalled, reinstalled 0.0.168 from https://github.com/ChristopherHX/osx-packaging-scripts/releases/tag/ng.dmg , and then skipped the update when prompted, the game started fine. |
0.0.168 crashes if you press cmd or alt and if you close the game etc. Note 0.0.168 is the last build of ngunstable with a merged fmod update to run 1.16.1.02 0.0.175 is current ng with working latest beta on linux |
Thanks for your response! I installed 0.0.175 from the .dmg downloaded from https://github.com/ChristopherHX/osx-packaging-scripts/releases/download/ng.dmg/Minecraft_Bedrock_Launcher_0.0.175_macOS_10.12.0.dmg , and got the crash below when running 1.16.0.x, the same downloaded version that ran for me in 0.0.168. The crashes from 1.16.1.02 and 1.14.60.5 look similar with the getsockaddr failure, let me know if you want logs from those too, or any other system information etc. Also, let me know if you want a new issue. I commented on this one because of your reference to libfmod.dylib which also appears in the log below, but I'm beginning to think it might be unrelated.

Are you running macOS 10.14 or 10.15? Or maybe you just had luck before a fix and now getting an debugging abort. |
