This is not only a good thing (tm) to have, but we need it to satisfy Fair Metric R1.1, that requires metadata (and data) to be released with a clear and accessible data usage license.
To satisfy this requirement, all we need to do is provide an IRI of the license for the data, and the metadata.
It looks like a major question is: Do we want people to have to attribute us when using our metadata. The "con" is that anyone that uses our stuff will have to cite us, and where we got the data, etc., which PWC calls "attribution stacking." Once a decision is made about whether we want to require attribution, I will do more research into the licenses that fit our requirements.
I need to investigate the possible licenses, and I will report back.
