Please confirm these before moving forward

  • I have searched for my issue and not found a work-in-progress/duplicate/resolved issue.
  • I have not been informed if the issue is resolved in a preview version of the winget client.

Brief description of your issue

I installed Google.AndroidStudio.Canary package.
If I winget list, Android Studio is seen like a regular application and is not sourced with winget.

Steps to reproduce

winget install Google.AndroidStudio.Canary
winget list

Actual behavior

Android Studio installed with winget is seen like a regular application. It is not sourced with winget.

Expected behavior

Android Studio has to be sourced with winget.

Environment

Windows Package manager v1.4.10173
Windows: Windows.Desktop v10.0.19044.2846
Architecture: X64
Package: Microsoft.DesktopAppInstaller v1.19.10173.0

I believe this is because there is Google.AndroidStudio, Google.AndroidStudio.Canary, and Google.AndroidStudio.Beta as available packages, but winget isn't able to determine which of the three is actually installed.
