Winget cannot update winget source

Brief description of your issue

When I try to update the winget source, it fails with the following error:

PS C:\Users\Huptomi> winget source update winget
Updating source: winget...
Cancelled

Steps to reproduce

1. Open CMD
2. Run winget source update winget or
3. See error: Cancelled

Expected behavior

The source should be updated successfully.

Actual behavior

The source is not updated. I cant install any packages from the winget source, only from the msstore source.

i'm sorry but that doesn not make any sense, how can winget just suddenly fails and works again! what did you do?
