winget is just waiting on an internal service (InstallService [I think]) to complete. I think you could see the status of all operations by opening the Store app and looking at the Library page. It is possible that there are other ongoing installs preventing yours from completing. There is a way to collect the logs ( |

Now that Allow winget to install MS Store packages without account #2095 has been implemented for a while, I tried to to install Microsoft To Do (with MS Store ID 9NBLGGH5R558).
Using winget version v1.3.2091 as a local user without UAC elevation, the install hangs (see output and log below) with an ever tumbling spinner.
I tried looking with an elevated Process Explorer for any child processes that
winget.exe
has, but there are none.How can I best investigate this further?
