Currently we're able to configure the extension such that Jedi will look for python files in specific directories (defined in autoComplete.extraPaths).
Are we able to do the same with the new analysis engine? Should we look into this?

Currently this configured via the setting autoComplete.extraPaths

Yes. It has 'SearchPaths' parameter. I can propagate extraPaths through.
