Noticed this recently that if I make a new line in the middle of a block (either code `, strong **, or emphasis *) the syntax highlighting doesn't correctly capture them. Which then actually performs differently than the bundled markdown viewer which does capture over the new line.

Hopefully this screen shot helps.

I tried having a look to fix it but got a bit lost in the regex 😞 . If anyone was available to guide me in the right direction would be happy to try put together a PR 👍

Is there some kind of documentation for the YAML structure at least? It's pretty challenging to figure out what means what.

Sadly its impossible to fix this with TextMate syntax highlighters
as if the ending ` is missing, TextMate is unable to check the other lines before validating
