This repo doesn't contain all the code you need for .Net Framework, so there isn't really a point in building it. It's primarily useful if you want to learn what .Net Framework 4.8 does.

If you want to build your own version of .Net, your best choice is the dotnet/runtime repo, which contains all the code and infrastructure for building .Net 7.
