When deploying multiple solutions that are part of the package, solution packager always publishes each of the solutions after it is imported which takes up quite a lot of time. It would be ideal where there is an ability to control publish at each solution level OR control whether publish runs at the end when all solutions are imported.
This is important in many instances but more impactful for dev inner loop and CI pipelines where solutions are unmanaged and import of them takes up bunch of time and on top of that publishing takes it even further and that too for each of the solutions in the package just adds up to the overall package deployment time. In order to better control deployments more efficiently, save time for developers where they can spend more time delivering features and impact, we feel that this feature would strongly add lot of value as well as increase the adoption for the package model.
