This setting that allows us to see the line breaks as a "↵" character in a text field on a Query does not apply to the Table editor (Right-click on a table and choose "Edit Data"). It is important to be able to see the "↵" symbol representing CR/LF when directly editing a table.
Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

@Nephrite-FM We have added the enter arrow indicators for newline characters when opening Edit Data, but they won't be visible when actually editing a cell and there is currently no way to add in newlines or to copy and paste values with newlines in due to limitations with the current Edit Data implementation (It will take significant time to revamp Edit Data so for now, we are limited to displaying the newlines before edit).
Hopefully, the above PR addresses the main issue of not knowing the newlines in a cell value when opening Edit Data
