Repro Steps

Maybe after installing a Microsoft update Ubuntu got problematic and the command sudo apt update responded with "ign" on all the rows. After reinstalling Hyper V and virtual platform and the WSL and the ubuntu the outcome was the same.
WSL without the ability to update is useless. my understanding that thge issue relays somewhere outside the WSL and affect it not in a good way.

sudo apt update - should update the system
