Add PowerToys to action center #6352
Comments
Related to #1244 |
@Aaron-Junker Yeah, this would be really useful! |
How would this look? Can you tell me your idea, or maybe draw it? |
I would do this for systray instead vs action center. but lets see if this is an API surface that is open. |
@crutkas I like to keep very few things in my system tray. I would have gotten rid of it if I didn't need the clock and Wi-Fi. Every thing else is inside the box: The action center is something I use more often, for features like easy access to Bluetooth and night light. Maybe some PowerToys could be available as one of these little boxes in the action center: |
Verified it is non-public API, not possible for PT to adopt currently. |
@crutkas Oh, that's too bad. |
#1244 is the better route |
All those buttons are OS things. Personally consider PT as "just" an app. Too big a difference. |
📝 Provide a description of the new feature
Idea: Add PowerToy Actions to the Action Center (as optional feature)
I would love to see this feature for example for ColorPicker. Because I don't want to use for every thing a new shortcut.
