Summary of the new feature/enhancement

Instead of using just a solid white/black background color for the search bar and results, it would be great if it could use the acrylic blur also (without the existing drop shadow).
IMO it will look great.

This was one of the original concepts (that uses acrylic for both the results list as the searchbox.

The code is already in place, but due to XAML Islands limitations (around transparency and Acrylic) this is not possible (yet). Hopefully once we move to WinUI3 we can enable this!

I think the original concept is great. Reducing the background lights and adding some blur would make it easier to focus on the search bar, especially when you have a ton of things opened.

@niels9001 Could there be a setting for using small surround rectangle instead of full screen? I am asking as i am using pt run in my RemoteApp/seamless setup for quick access to remote computer file/programs. Alt+R for remote and Win+R for local

Please allow us to disable background/display dimming if that's implemented. Display dimming is the worst part of windows.
