Using this feature users could set one key, a shortcut or a combination of keys to do something (e.g. set vol to 20%, move windows/resize, open app etc.) Users could also set the input combination/shortcut/one-key to only be accpeted from a specific input device.
Scenario when this would be used?
In office environments, where people have to open and change a lot of windows and apps
In coding environments, where people use many different apps and need certain window sizing
In other environments (WFH, other etc.), with multiple PCS (all running powertoys, cross-device compability?) or even cross-OS (maybe even mac/linux????) or with different devices and accessories
however, uses a rpi and AutoHotKey to do keybinds for pc, so for people who actually need the number pad, it would be inconvient.
choosing to accept input from only select input sources will help..
